The bodycon dress is that one style that some people flock to and many others run from while shopping. I’m a huge lover of the body con dress trend and own many body con dresses in my closet. I think a body con dress can be worn on all shapes and sizes when you find the right style and fit for you. Body con dress don’t have to show off your body completely. It all varies on the style and cut of the garment, it also can be used to accentuate your best feature. “For example, if you have long legs wear a bodycon thats maybe shorter in length or has a small split”

2. Black Is A Must
Every woman should have a LBD (Little Black Dress) that she can always wear. If you’re a little shy on wearing form fitting clothes than black is the best route to go. Black will always be on trend, and it’s also can make any look sexy without trying too hard.

3. Bare It All
Now when most think of bodycon dresses they think “oh my I have to wear Spanx” well I’m here to tell you that’s not always true. If you want to wear one sure go ahead, But most body con material is stretchy and forms to your body. Therefore you want to be comfy and not feel like you have extra baggage on you. Be free girl be free!!!

4. Add Layers
If wearing a body con makes you feel too self-conscious, don’t fret. You can easily add a layer with an oversized jacket or loose-fitting cardigan to balance out the look. It’s also an easy way to dress it up or down.

The bodycon dress is a show stopper on its own, which means it’s best to keep the accessories and shoes neutral. Skip the heavy-duty jewelry and focus on pieces that can complement, not overpower the outfit.

Always Wear Your Invisible Crown

Believing in yourself and loving yourself is something many women and even some men all battle with in everyday life, it’s one of the hardest things to do in the world! Many of us don’t know about the power we possess within ourselves until later in life. I think all people deserve to be loved and empowered. That’s why I’m such a believer in the quote, “Always wear your invisible crown”. That quote can mean many different things to many different people.

While browsing the Internet (as I usually do), I discovered this awesome shirt on REBDOLLS that had the word QUEEN written on it. Now me being a former beauty pageant girl, I was like “shut up and take my money”, But the slogan on the sweatshirt meant a bit more to me than just the word QUEEN. Thrifted Blues

Anyone who knows me knows my fashion sense is a little bit of everything mixed into one closet. I never stick to just one trend, and I enjoy mixing vintage pieces with my everyday wear. One place I LOVEEEEEEE to shop for clothing is at my local thrift store. I can spend hrs in a thrift store sifting the racks for gems that others have given away or donated. Thrift Stores always have some of the coolest clothes for less than half the price of regular retail stores. Now I know some may think the thought of second-hand clothing is gross, but it’s honestly not that bad. All the clothes sold at thrift stores aren’t always old you can usually snag some newbies with price tags still intact as well. When I do purchase anything from a thrifting adventure, I always make sure to wash and dry clean the items. While shopping out on one of my frequent thrift store trips, I purchased a bright royal blue pantsuit. Now royal blue just happens to be a color I fancy very much.

The pantsuit was just the color I had been looking all over for and it was less than $5.00 can you say BARGAIN!!!!!!!! I just knew it would be the perfect outfit for a day at work or having brunch with the ladies. I decided to style my outfit with a white top and some royal blue pumps to give it an almost monochrome feel. This outfit is perfect for winter, but I also think in the spring/summer I can have fun playing with different colors and looks.
